Hello Pocock Parents!

 

I hope everyone is well and looking forward to summer as the school year winds down.

 

A few fyi’s:

 

1.        For interested rowers, there are some excellent rowing opportunities at Pocock this summer.  Summer sessions are fun, without the pressure of the fall and spring seasons and a wonderful opportunity to hone on the water skills.  Please check out the schedule at this link:

2.        The boathouse has a team clean up scheduled for this Saturday June 18.  We need kids to help out 9-11.  Thank you!

 

3.        On July 9^th, we have scheduled a massive boat dedication ceremony to christen our 7 new boats.  Please join us for this event and learn more of the lore and tradition of rowing and our boathouse.  A barbeque for everyone(with Matt’s famous ribs!) will immediately follow the dedication– Yahoo!

 

Thank you!  Sadly, you will not be receiving weekly emails from me over the summer but look for them to begin again towards the end of August as we gear up for Fall.
